1 July – iLearn upgraded with some changes to functionality, and an improved look and feel.
3 July – Approvals for any unit amendments for S2 should be completed in the MQCMS (These will need to have been submitted through your Faculty process prior to this date).
6 July – LEU S1 survey results emailed to Unit Convenors.
10 July – Unit Guides for S2 due to be published.
11 July – Academic Standards and Quality Committee (ASQC) meeting.
14 July – Applications close for Vice Chancellor’s Learning & Teaching awards

September
1 September – Due date for MQCMS approval of amendments to (i) Session 1 2024 offered units where you are changing things like unit offerings and share teaching for 2024 AND (ii) 2024 Courses where you are changing things like Course Director, overview/aims, course learning outcomes, mapping etc. Liaise with your Faculty to determine your required submission date in the CMS.
11 September – Senate Learning & Teaching Committee (SLTC) meeting.
12 September – Academic Standards and Quality Committee (ASQC) meeting.
12-24 September – Mid-session break.
October
3 October – Academic Standards and Quality Committee (ASQC) meeting.
9-29 October – Learner Evaluation of Unit (LEU) S2 Survey period. The surveys are sent to students on 9th October and it’s open for 21 days.
10 October – Academic Senate meeting.
30 October – Senate Learning & Teaching Committee (SLTC) meeting.

6 February – iLearn Drop-in Clinics commence providing personalised support for your iLearn queries.
9 February – iLearn Insights Pecha Kucha event – Get a refresher on the key features of iLearn Insights and learn about the latest upgrades to this student engagement reporting tool. Register.
12 February – Closing date for PACE Prizes applications to recognise students who completed a PACE work integrated learning activity in 2022 as well as staff and industry partners who made an outstanding contribution to the PACE experience.
13 February – First Senate Learning & Teaching Committee (SLTC) meeting for 2023 (an extraordinary planning meeting for 2023 SLTC activities).

27 February – WriteWISE consultation service commences for S1 – a student-led writing service available to all undergraduate and postgraduate coursework students providing academic writing support and advice on effective study strategies. Let your students know about this service by providing them with this link.
27 February – Peer-Assisted Study Sessions (PASS), formerly known as PAL, will commence in collaboration with FSE and FMHHS in selected units! Let your students know about this service by providing them with this link.

1 March – Learning and Teaching Podcast club starts up for 2023 – like a book club but for podcasts. Join our monthly discussions.
1 March – Contemporary Approaches to University Teaching MOOC opens for S1 enrolment. More details coming soon in TECHE.

7 March – Careers and employability programs for students commence. A series of workshops for students covering skills development, transition to work and career exploration. Encourage your students to participate by providing them with this link.
